RILEY ESCOOTER: MODEL RS3
The Riley RS3 is a portable, folding and efficiently designed electric kick scooter that is rated in the lightweight class at 30 pounds. Weighing 30 lbs or less is considered lightweight for e-scooters. With a 350 watt rated motors with a 700 watt peak power, the RS3 has the pizazz to get you where you need to go, including a few hills along the way.
Electric kick scooters are known for their ability to fold down, making them portable. The Riley RS3 however, has added yet another impressive design feature by allowing the foot(deck)area to fold in half, along with the stem, which makes the escooter ultra compact and very convenient to carry on public transportation. You can wheel it along in its' halfed deck state with the handlebars folded but the stem extended or, if you prefer to carry it; also retract the stem(folds in half), making it moreso convenient for your daily commute.
With its' three drive modes- slow, eco, top speed; you can easily navigate city streets and trails with the speed most appropriate. The RS3 is rated for a range of 25 kilometers(15 miles), with a top speed of 25km(15mph). Like all escooter models, rider weight, and terrain can affect the ultimate range of the escooter. The battery is removable, and takes less than 5 hours to charge completely. The RS3 has received good reviews for its' build quality, and can accommodate riders who weigh to 264lb or 120kg. With the included app you can track your riding stats and customize features.
At this time, the Riley RS3 is mostly sold in Europe, however, research indicates it is to arrive for sale in USA, hopefully in 2025.
