The Segway Ninebot F2 electric kick scooter is a little weighty at 37lbs, however its' 42v, 10.ah battery, with a rated 350w/700w peak motor can travel a 40km distance. Riders can select different speed modes- Eco(9mph), Drive(16mph), and, Sport(18mph). For example, at max(Sport) speed mode, the rated distance is 30km(18miles) based on a 165lb rider, traveling at a speed of 18mph. If you travel in Eco mode, you would get better mileage based on the same criteria of a 165lb rider.
This escooter is a long commute escooter, and, can carry 265lbs. With its' IPX5 rating, it can splash through small puddles, and some light rain. It takes about 6 and a half hours to charge the battery. F2 has 10", self sealing tubeless tires, meaning you can keep riding if you get a tire puncture.
Notable features on the F2 include the front and rear integrated turn signals, and traction control system(TCS), that helps to stablize your ride on wet surfaces. This can be toggled on in the ninebot app. The F2 has a dual braking system, with front disc and rear E-ABS. A night light is mounted on the handlebar for after dark commutes.
